Ages 8-14Virtual Robotics: Coding with Computational ThinkingThis camp will help you to gain a head start in programming. You won't be just coding, but will build the foundation in the analytics process necessary to become a good software programmer, from design to programming, doing systematic troubleshooting. Gain a unique robotics experience that will increase your interest and awareness in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) and develop 21st Century skills. We all know that robots make Computer Science (CS) come to life with real world applications. Now STEAM learning can continue while at home.
Dates: Monday- Friday; 7/5/2021-7/9/2021The fee listed below is the cost for the entire week.
Time: 5:30PM - 7:30PM
Parents will need to be present for the first 15 minutes to assist with screen setup.
This camp is open to all children in the community.
Location: Online video conferencing platform with security features.
Facilitation: Live STEAM Coaches who are fingerprinted and background checked.
Technology Required: PC, Chromebook, or Mac, WIFI, mouse

Age should be between 8 and 14 as of July 27th, 2020
Inclusive program serving the following: traditional learners with no additional needs, learning disabilities, ADHD, high functioning ASD, Aspergers, and some physical disabilities. Since this is an online program, campers with special needs may need parental support to participate. Please contact us with questions before registering and disclose in the form below. We accept InCommunity and other scholarship funding if contacted in advance before registering.
Laptops are available for rent at $200 plus shipping and handling. The $200 will be returned in full once the laptop is returned in the same condition it was received. Payment will not be made at this time. A separate payment request will be sent two weeks before the camp.
