Ages 8-14Mobile App Development - Intro to JavaScript Campers will learn JavaScript programming to design more complex games like Fruit Ninja. The goal is to introduce intermediate concepts, design an app-like game, and implement coding logic. This is a great starting point for children with little or no prior experience who are comfortable with a challenge. Every camper will take home a portfolio with apps at the end of the week!

Time: 5:30PM - 6:30PM EST
Parents will need to be present for the first 15 minutes to assist with screen setup.
This camp is open to all children in the community.
Location: Online video conferencing platform with security features.
Facilitation: Live STEAM Coaches who are fingerprinted and background checked.
Technology Required: PC, Chromebook, or Mac, WIFI, mouse

Inclusive program serving the following: traditional learners with no additional needs, learning disabilities, ADHD, high functioning ASD, Aspergers, and some physical disabilities. Since this is an online program, campers with special needs may need parental support to participate. Please contact us with questions before registering and disclose in the form below. We accept InCommunity and other scholarship funding if contacted in advance before registering.
Laptops are available for rent at $200 plus shipping and handling. The $200 will be returned in full once the laptop is returned in the same condition it was received. Payment will not be made at this time. A separate payment request will be sent two weeks before the camp.
